Description
The Defense Health Agency (DHA), DHA Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division (HCD) � Southeast/Europe, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), Germany is issuing this Notice of Intend (NOI) sole source to inform industry contractors of the Government�s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under authority FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Award is for Firm Fixed Price, Single Award, Sole Source contract with Firm Fixed priced CLINs for the services of acquiring Canon Computer Tomography (CT) maintenance services at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. The intended Contractor is Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. located at 2441 Michelle Dr.; Tustin, CA 92780-7047. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in repairing and maintenance with the Product of Service Code of J065 � Maintenance Repair, Rebuild, Of Equipment � Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via e-mail to Demetria Figueroa at demetria.d.figueroa.civ@health.mil and Hyun Townsley at hyun.j.townsley.civ@health.mil with the following information referenced in the subject line, Canon Computer Tomography (CT) Maintenance Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested parties who are responsible, capable, certified to meet the Synopsis, and authorized may identify their interest and may submit an offer or quotation which shall be considered by the agency no later than 12:00 PM Central Europe Time on April 20, 2026 to Demetria Figueroa at demetria.d.figueroa.civ@health.mil and Hyun Townsley at hyun.j.townsley.civ@health.mil. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. Description of Supplies/Services: The requirement is for Non-Personal Services. Any resulting contract will be a commercial, non-personal services contract, under which the Contractor will perform as an independent Contractor. The Government will evaluate the quality of service provided but retains no control over the aspects of services rendered (e.g., professional judgments, diagnosis for specific medical treatment). The Contractor shall indemnify the Government for any liability producing act or omission by the Contractor, its employees and agents occurring during contract performance. This support will provide Canon Computer Tomography (CT) maintenance services at LRMC, Germany for the period of performance base plus three option years. The Canon Computer Tomography (CT) maintenance services provide schedule/unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs services to radiology equipment located at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) area of operation.
