Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source 1.0mm and 1.9mm EndoInspect Fiberscopes Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis IN, 46202, intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price, Purchase Order to one small business, AIT Products, LLC d.b.a. Advanced Inspection Technologies, LLC, 2020 W. Eau Gallie Blvd, STE 101, Melbourne, FL 32935, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for this requirement. The Contractor shall provide the following commercial equipment and services: PRODUCT NAME QTY 1.0mm X 190cm Endoinspect Videoscope - IP68 Rating (Continuous Immersion in Water 1 Meter in Depth - High-Level Disinfect Able to Use Any Hospital Approved Disinfectant - Low- Temperature Sterilize Able Borescope May Be Terminally Disinfected - Borescope Probe Quickly Detaches for Easy Cleaning and Sterilization - Automatic, Motion Activated Scope Led On / Off Feature 3 1.9mm X 190cm Endoinspect Videoscope - IP68 Rating (Continuous Immersion in Water 1 Meter in Depth - High-Level Disinfect Able to Use Any Hospital Approved Disinfectant - Low- Temperature Sterilize Able Borescope May Be Terminally Disinfected - Borescope Probe Quickly Detaches for Easy Cleaning and Sterilization - Automatic, Motion Activated Scope Led On / Off Feature 3 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The NAICS Size is 1,000 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. This procurement is being conducted under Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and in accordance with (IAW) GSAR 538.7104-3(a)(1)(ii ), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
