SOURCES SOUGHT FOR REPAIRS AT THE GRANT POOL FORT LEAVENWORTH, KS. U.S. Army Fort Leavenworth Department of Public Works Classification Code: Z2JZ Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Set Aside: TBD PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED MILITARY PROGRAM. The information received will be used within Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. This announcement is not a request for proposals, but a survey of the market for potential sources. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Department of Public Works, Fort Leavenworth, KS is seeking current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to work that includes but is not limited to General construction: The work includes replacing the existing pool supply and return plumbing with a new overflow gutter system and sealing all legacy penetrations to restore watertight integrity. It also includes replacing damaged electrical conduits and wiring beneath the excavated deck, along with additional conduit, conductors, CPVC piping, and chemical house conduit as required. The existing sand filters will be replaced with a new in-ground horizontal filtration system, and a new chemical house exhaust fan will be installed. Electrical upgrades include replacing and relocating the main panel and the pool pump motor disconnect. Additional work includes installing a new slide water supply line, repairing the telecom line, replacing pool deck drains, and completing required grounding and bonding of pool components. The project also replaces the pool fencing, underwater lights, bathhouse windowpanes, storage room doors, and building gutters, along with repairing bathhouse tiles and installing a new trench drain in the mechanical yard. A new exposed aggregate pool liner will be installed after all structural, gutter, and penetration repair work is complete. The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous task orders at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades. The contract to be awarded under this contract will be for construction in Fort Leavenworth, within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a corresponding Size Standard of $45 million.
