****THIS NOT A SOLICITATION**** THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE VETERANS MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED ON 423 EAST, 23rd STREET, NEW YORK, NY 10010, WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 2026, FOR INSPECT AND REPAIR FIRE DAMPERS The New York VA Medical Center (VAMC) was constructed in the late 1940 s. The project will require inspection services for buildings 1 and 6; fire damper repairs and installation of new fire and smoke dampers per deficiency list; and the update of the life safety and damper drawings for buildings 1 and 6. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business standard is $19 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on https://beta.sam.gov in electronic format only.
