Description

Building 114 Roof Repairs for Hampton VA Health Care System Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to release a solicitation for construction services to repair roofs at building 114 at the Hampton VA Health Care System. The contractor will provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to repair roofs (flat roof over the sunroom and office, second-floor cornice work, and the standing seam roofing) at building 114. This is not a request for submission of offers. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror(s) for any cost. This is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following website: https://search.certifications.sba.gov/. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement to inform potential offerors of the Department of Veteran Affairs, NCO6 intends to publicize an Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Building 114 Roof Repairs on or around January 19, 2026, with a response due date for bids on or around February 18, 2026. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238160, Roofing Contractors with a size standard of $19.0 Million. The product service code is Z2DA, Repair or Alteration of Hospitals and Infirmaries. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract with an estimated magnitude of construction for this project between $100,000 and $250,000 per FAR 36.204(c). The government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or quote preparation.
