NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a urgent sole source contract to TrillaMed, LLC, 30100 Telegraph Road, Suite 366, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 is purchasing the Aesculap System and its accessories, to be supplied by TrillaMed, LLC, for use at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. This urgent procurement addresses the need to maintain patient care standards and sterile supply storage. Interested firms that can meet this requirement must submit written notification and capability statements before the deadline. Vendors must state if they are the direct supplier, service provider, or authorized reseller/distributor. They must provide evidence demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements, including relevant corporate experience, the contract number, contract amount, performance period, details of the supply, and customer contact information. Responses must include the following information: Company Name SAM UEI Number Point of Contact Information (title, phone number, and email address) Business Size Capabilities Statement Country of Origin The government will evaluate responses but may decide not to proceed with this procurement. The government will not return any submitted information. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339114 Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing, and the size standard is 750 employees. Responses are due by 10:00 am EST on October 24, 2025, via email to Ryan.Hatfield@va.gov. This notice serves as the only announcement of the Government's intent to award a sole-source contract. The Government will not pay for submitted information. Responses will be considered only for future procurement assessments. Draft Statement of Need Aesculap System and Accessories Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has URGENT requirement for one (1) Aesculap System and its accessories. Currently, the dental RME inventory requires daily reprocessing to maintain the necessary supply for normal patient load. Upon the closing of the main sterile processing service department, and relocation to mobile processing trailers, the turnover time will increase from one day to two, which will require an additional set of dental equipment to sustain the current patient schedule. The Aesculap System is a reusable rigid container system used for the packaging, transportation, and storage of instruments prior to, during, and after sterilization. It consists of the various sizes of container bottoms, container lids, and basket options, and Aesculap accessories such as instrument holders, baskets, filters, indicator cards and tamper evident locks.
