Description
Request for Solutions: Joint Forward Assessment & Networking Gear (JFANG) PURPOSE: This Special Notice is issued to provide awareness of the release of a Request for Solutions (RFS) for an other transaction project in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022. The Joint Forward Assessment & Networking Gear (JFANG) has been issued as part of the Maritime Advanced Technology Consortium (MATAC) managed by Advanced Technology International (ATI) and administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY: Other Transaction Consortium Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of MATAC. Interested parties may visit MATAC.org for membership information. PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Department of War (DoW) desires a deployable solution to enable resilient network connectivity and data transport in support of joint force, multi-domain operations and Combatant Command (COCOM) experimentation. This effort addresses gaps in rapidly deployable networking and transport capabilities required to support distributed and expeditionary environments. The effort will integrate, configure, deploy, and operate a modular networking solution, including deployable networking kits, to enable secure, reliable connectivity and data transport across distributed test and experimentation environments. Please visit the MATAC website at (https://MATAC.org/) to review additional information.
