Description

a. This amendment is issued to provide questions and answers to Combined Synopsis-Solicitation 36C24826Q0020, Ceiba Community-Based Outpatient Clinic Maintenance Services Contract b. Questions and Answers: Q1. Does the Government expect or need personnel on-site on a daily basis to ensure the functionality of every item mentioned in the PWS? A1. This is a performance-based acquisition. In this type of acquisition, the requirement is structured around the results to be achieved as opposed to how the work is to be performed. It is up to the contractor to determine whether or not to have personnel on-site on a daily basis. However, the contractor is responsible for ensuring that all tasks delineated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are met. Q2. In case of storms or hurricanes, are storm-proofing and preparations under the contractors' responsibility? A2. Yes. Paragraph 3.7.5 has been added to the PWS under "Storm Preparations". In the event of storms, hurricanes, or as requested by the government, the contractor shall be responsible for the installation, removal, and other necessary storm-proofing preparations to safeguard the building. Q3. Please clarify the intent of PWS paragraph 3.7.3.1. A3. Paragraph 3.7.3.1 has been removed from the PWS since the contractor is not required to empty trash containers. c. A revised PWS is attached to this amendment. d. Interested vendors are reminded to acknowledge this amendment in their quote. e. The RFQ closing date and time remain unchanged (November 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM). f. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
