Description
Amendment 2 is issued to schedule site visit, tentatively scheduled weather permitting, for March 31, 2026, at 6:30am. Please see site visit details attachment 9. This site visit involves a 10-mile hike with 2,743 ft elevation gain. This amendment uploads attachments as follows: Attachment 7 Leconte Lodge Llama operations plan, Attachment 8 - Equine-related from 2024 GRSM Superintendent's Compendium 2, Attachment 9 - Site Visit Details, Attachment 10 - Questions Amendment 2. Due Date Remains April 10, 2026, at 5PM EDT. Amendment 1 is issued to post revised Statement of Work, Dated 3-5-2026. The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for services required to demolish the recreation building from the Mt. LeConte Lodge area. Location of Recreation building is on Mt. LeConte. This site is a remote location and limited access by way of trails. Airlift services are anticipated for Contractors mobilization of equipment and materials, as well as the removal of demolished materials and demobilization. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors $19M Period of Performance 4/15/2026 to 8/1/2026 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD. Site Visit: Offerors are highly encouraged to perform site visit at any time to inspect the site and fully understand the requirement and conditions.
