Description
1.0 DISCLAIMER This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in accordance with the FAR 10.001 to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources. Please respond to the questions in section 3.0. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333914, Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The FAR Provision found at 52.204-7(b)(1) requires that all offerors obtain a UEI to register in SAM. You may access the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. All offerors must be certified with the appropriate NAICS code on the SAM website. All SDVOSB/VOSB offerors must be verified by the Small Business Administration at the time of quote submission. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. This RFI is part of a continuous process for obtaining the latest information on the commercial status of the industry with respect to their current and near-term abilities. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a competitive contract. It is emphasized that this is a notice solely for planning and informational purposes. 2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ANTICIPATED NEED The East Orange VA Medical Center is seeking to replace the building s fire pump. The contractor must provide all resources necessary to supply one (1) pump and deliver replacement fire pump as specified below, this procurement is for equipment only. The contractor shall supply a replacement that matches the specifications of existing pump unit. The replacement pump shall be new. The contractor must ensure the pump is compliant with NFPA, VA and manufactures standard. SPECIFICATIONS N/S ARMSTRONG 4600FE Series Split Case Fire Pump, Model #1020316072, Size 6x5x10F, Type 4600FE, 100 HP, 3560 RPM Pump End Only. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS All items must be delivered to the East Orange VAMC located at 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018. The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory.
