Statement of Work *NAME BRAND OR EQUAL* Scope of Work: This requirement needs to provide Microsurgical instrumentation to be delivered to C.W. Bill Young VAMC (CWYVAMC) Bay Pines Campus. Background: In the last few months Bay Pines campus has added several new surgeons on board due to Bay Pines growing veteran population and in return growing surgical needs. One such addition is a new vascular surgeon who works particularly with veterans in- need of Microsurgery. Microsurgery requires precision to repair or rebuild microscopic parts of the body like blood vessels and nerves.� Because of the necessary precision of Microsurgery, the instrumentation must be extremely precise and without any flaw. Although Bay Pines have vascular Reusable Medical Devises (RMD) and some Microsurgery RMD it has been some time since they have been upgraded. Surgery is in a never-ending evolving door and Sterile Processing Service (SPS) must be able to keep up with the needs of new techniques. One such need is adding microsurgical RMD. Each instrument is individually handcrafted, providing the surgeon with the highest quality and longest-lasting precision instrument possible. Place of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered to Sterile Processing Service at the CWYVAMC, located at 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744. Period of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered no later than December 15, 2025 Type of Contract: Supply: Firm, Fixed Price. Requirement Overview The Contractor shall provide the full requested quantity of products listed below. Salient Characteristics *NAME BRAND OR EQUAL* Equipment Requirements: Jacobson Micro Needle Holder extended 10 mm knurling, with ratchet, straight, Diamond Dust jaws, regular box lock, 8" / 21 cm X10. DeBakey Dissecting Forceps, flat handle, 1 mm straight tips, 7-¾" / 19.5 cm X10. Suction (Rotatable) Tips, 5 ¼ / 13.5 cm, 11 French X10. Graduated Suction System Universal Variable, suction handle (7.5 cm) X10 Instrumentation must be hand crafted. Instrumentation must be made of stainless steel or titanium. Must be able to be cleaned and sterilized for reuse Must all be able to ship ten of each instrumtation needed. Training: Not required. Software: Not required.
