Sources Sought Notice SOURCES SOUGHT - Project No. 687-24-101 Demo Regrade Connecting Corridor This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a request for proposal or quote. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is currently requesting information regarding the availability and capability of small businesses to perform this potential construction requirement. Responses received will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. There is no solicitation currently available. Draft documents (SOW, Drawings, Specifications, etc.) are subject to change. Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Project Description: The corridor structure at the Walla Walla VA has exceeded its useful life and needs to be demolished for future facility plans. This project aims to completely demolish the connecting corridor, restore or repair the exterior features that are touching the corridor and relocate all utilities that are still active from underneath the corridor in trenches below grade. Sidewalks, staircases, ramps and some landscaping will be added where indicated after demolition and utility relocation has occurred. For the principal components of work see the attached draft statement of work. Project Location: Walla Walla VA Medical Center - Jonathon M. Wainwright Memorial Medical Center, 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla, WA 99362-3975 The estimated magnitude for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Sources are being sought for firms with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238910 Site Preparation Contractors, PSC Z2DA, and with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 million. Capable contractors are highly encouraged to respond to this notice. If you are interested and can provide the required services, please submit the following: 1. Capability Statement five (5) page maximum 2.
