Posted Date: 03 February 2026 Response Date: 13 February 2026, 12:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST) NAICS Code: 561730, Landscaping Services Small Business Size Standard: $9.5 Million Issuing Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District, 601 E. 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106 Description of Requirement The USACE Kansas City District is conducting market research to identify businesses with the capability to perform mowing, trimming, and related grounds maintenance services at Stockton Lake Project, Stockton, Missouri. The requirement is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a one-year base period and two (2), one-year option periods. The general scope includes, but is not limited to, mowing and trimming of approximately 25 recreation areas, including boat ramp access roads, parking lots, campgrounds, and office areas, totaling approximately 750 acres per mowing cycle. The frequency is approximately 14 mowing cycles per season. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE, SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A PROCUREMENT COMMITMENT BY USACE, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. RESPONSE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY; NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OR SUFFER ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY IMPROPERLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION. Instructions for Submission Interested parties are requested to submit a Capability Statement to the Point of Contact by the Response Date. The submission shall not exceed ten (10) pages and must include responses to the following questions. Required Information Please provide clear and concise responses to the following: Company Information (Identify if using a joint venture or partnering). The following information is required: Company Name, Address, and Website. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE Code. Point of Contact (Name, Title, Email, Phone Number). Socio-Economic Status: Under NAICS Code 561730, identify all verified socio-economic categories your business holds in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov): Small Business (SB) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) HUBZone Small Business Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) / 8(a) Program Participant Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Other than Small Business Experience and Capability: Describe your company�s experience performing services of similar scope, scale, and complexity to those described. Provide at least two (2), but no more than three (3), relevant project examples from the past five years. For each project, include: Contract Number and Project Title Customer (Agency/Organization) and Point of Contact Period of Performance and Total Contract Value Brief description of the work performed, including total acreage and frequency of service. Provide the physical address of your primary business location and/or equipment yard and state its distance in driving miles from Stockton Lake, Missouri, 65785. Does your firm have the necessary equipment (e.g., commercial-grade mowers, tractors, trimmers) and trained personnel to perform these services? Does your firm have the capacity to begin performance within 30 days of contract award? Contractors are advised that information provided to the Government regarding this Sources Sought Notice will be considered Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and will not be released to the public or other potential contractors. The Government may retain this information for its records indefinitely. E-mail your response to Jane Bramel, Contract Specialist, at jane.e.bramel@usace.army.mil. Interested offerors shall respond to the Sources Sought Notice no later than 12:00 P.M. (CST) on February 13, 2026. Email is the preferred method of delivery for responses to this notice. Please include in the subject block of your email the project name and Sources Sought number �Stockton Mowing and Trimming Services�. Responses by FAX will not be accepted. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to contractors regarding their submissions.
