Description

The purpose of this amendment is to respond to vendor inquiries. Question: Please confirm whether cooling tower cleanings are included within the scope of work under this solicitation. If so, we kindly request details regarding the expected frequency, scope, and any applicable standards or protocols. Answer: Yes, cooling tower cleaning and disinfection is covered in Section B.8 of Appendix B. Question: For the installation of monochloramine systems, please clarify whether installation services are to be priced separately from the equipment itself, or if a bundled cost structure is required. Answer: Please see the bottom of line item 4007 Base period Includes provision and installation. Question: Please confirm whether the monochloramine systems are intended to be leased as part of the service agreement or purchased outright by the facility. Answer: Please see SOW Section 7 Paragraph A - The vendor shall retain ownership of the systems and be 100% responsible to ensure continuous effective operation. Question: Please clarify whether retesting should be included in base pricing for dental waterline testing. Answer: Yes, dental waterline testing is priced quarterly. Quarterly pricing shall include initial samples and resampling. Question: Please clarify whether resampling for out-of-range sterile processing samples should be included in base pricing. Answer: Yes, sterile processing is priced per cycle (quarter, job, year). Pricing per cycle shall include initial samples and resampling. Question: Will you be providing a Form 1449 for this solicitation response. Answer: No. Please see the first paragraph on page 2, under Description: This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The Class C certified operator license requirement is hereby removed from SOW Section C.7. Paragraph E. Line a. to read: Twice monthly service. The NYCDOH Water Treatment Operator certification is hereby removed from technical requirements outlined in Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors.
