Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking feedback from industry on draft requirements documents related to Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) technologies. Your insights are crucial in ensuring that our upcoming acquisition accurately reflects current technological advancements and best practices. We invite you to thoroughly review the draft materials provided and submit comments focusing on areas that may be unclear, requirements that do not fully capture the latest technological capabilities, or specifications that might inadvertently limit the inclusion of newer, yet proven, technologies. Please note that this is a request for information and not a solicitation for proposals. While the government will not be providing direct responses to individual questions posed within your comments, any questions submitted will be carefully considered and may be utilized to clarify and refine the final requirements documents. To streamline this process, please avoid submitting capability statements or generalized information about your companys past performance. Instead, we are seeking concise, actionable input that clearly identifies what can be done, what cannot be done, and realistic timeframes for accomplishing the proposed tasks. Our primary interest is in your expert feedback on the draft requirements themselves. We request that all comments be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this request. Responses must be submitted in the CBP provided RFI Response Matrix Microsoft Excel format to contracting officer Aga Frys, aga.frys@cbp.dhs.gov and Kaitlin Merli, kaitlin.h.merli@associates.cbp.dhs.gov Your timely and detailed input is highly valued as we work to enhance our NII capabilities and secure our nation's borders. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to your contributions.
