Description

The U.S. Navy intends to hold a virtual Industry Day to discuss the upcoming Service Craft and Boats (SCB) Multiple Award Contract (MAC), a $3.5B contract vehicle for the procurement of a wide range of commercial-based, non-developmental boats and craft. This MAC will include products such as utility boats, patrol boats, support vessels, non self-propelled barges, and other small craft and waterborne platforms. Additionally, larger floating structures like Auxiliary Personnel Lighters (APLs) and Auxiliary Floating Dry Docks (AFDMs) are planned under a separate full-and-open portion of the MAC. The Navy intends to minimize proposal burdens at the base award level and enable efficient delivery order (DO) competitions for recurring, well-defined requirements. We are seeking to onboard a wide range of capable U.S. builders including small businesses and large shipyards and encourage interested parties across NAICS codes 336611 and 336612 to attend the Industry Day and ask questions. While many of our existing builders may already be tracking this opportunity, we want to ensure this is known to as many qualified U.S. boat and shipbuilders as possible. Industry Day Details Date: 10 December 2025 Time: 1100 Eastern Standard Time Format: Virtual (Microsoft Teams) Virtual Meeting Link: https://dod.teams.microsoft.us/meet/993120672732?p=zFsAnmwDiIDj1F5Mrx Attendance is voluntary and is not required to participate in any future solicitation. The Government anticipates issuing the final Request for Proposal (RFP) electronically via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. Attendance or non-attendance does not preclude participation in future solicitations. Disclaimer This Industry Day is for market research and informational purposes only. It is not a RFP or an invitation to bid. Participation does not confer any advantage in any future procurement.
