Description

Bladder scanners with mobile carts /workstations, Manufacturer: Verathon and Model: i10, for the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System to acquire three scanners for Auburn CBOC. The bladder scanners are used to assist in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of post-operative urinary retention (POUR), to help prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infections, to identify bladder distention, causes of urinary frequency and bladder irritability, and to assess a patient's hydration status.
