NAICS Code: 811111 � General Automotive Repair (Size Standard: $9.0 Million) Contracting Office: 30th Contracting Squadron Vandenberg SFB, CA Response Due Date: 16 March 2026, 1:00 PM PST Questions Due Date: 06 Mach 2026, 1:00 PM PST Primary Point of Contact: Jeff Weeks - Contract Specialist jeffrey.weeks.5@spaceforce.mil Secondary Point of Contact: Scott Yeaple - Contracting Officer Scott.yeaple.spaceforce.mil 1.0 DESCRIPTION The 30th Contracting Squadron is issuing this Sources Sought announcement to conduct market research for a new requirement for comprehensive vehicle fleet maintenance and repair services for Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), California. The primary purpose of this market research is to: Validate Technical Requirements: Solicit industry feedback on the feasibility and clarity of the requirements outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Assess Local Vendor Capability: Determine the availability and capability of qualified local sources to support this requirement. Refine Acquisition Strategy: Gather information to mitigate risks and develop a sound acquisition strategy prior to issuing a formal solicitation. The Government anticipates establishing one (1) five-year (5), Multiple-Award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) under the authority FAR Part 12 commercial procedures. The total estimated ceiling for all BPAs combined is $4 Million. Individual orders placed against any BPA will not exceed the current Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) $350,000. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this announcement is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified business sources. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement. All costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude a firm from participating in any future solicitation. 2.0 REQUIREMENT SUMMARY The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform a full range of vehicle maintenance services as defined in the attached PWS. The fleet is primarily composed of commercial or commercial-type vehicles as detailed in the attached Vehicle Equipment List. Key service categories include: Unscheduled / Corrective Maintenance & Diagnostics Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI) Tire, Body, and Glass Services Compliance with all Federal, State (California), and local regulations, including special transport permitting for non-street-legal vehicles. 3.0 ATTACHMENTS Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement (PWS) Attachment 2 - Vehicle Equipment List Attachment 3 - Market Research Questionnaire 4.0 INSTRUCTIONS TO INTERESTED PARTIES Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought. All responses must be submitted on official company letterhead. The response shall consist of: A completed Market Research Questionnaire (Attachment 3). Any supporting documentation requested within the questionnaire (e.g., evidence of certifications). The total response shall not exceed 10 pages. Responses shall be submitted via email to the primary AND secondary points of contact listed above no later than the response due date. All questions regarding this announcement must be submitted via email by the questions due date. All questions and the Government's corresponding answers will be posted publicly as an amendment to this announcement on SAM.gov.
