Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO 15), 3450 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048, intends to issue a solicitation for the purchase of thirty-five (35) new alarmed swing anti-barricade and anti-ligature door systems for the Inpatient Psychiatric Wards located in Building 51 at Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63125. The anticipated solicitation will be issued as a Firm-Fixed-Price requirement and is expected to be set aside for Small Business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 321911, Wood Window and Door Manufacturing, and the applicable PSC is 5520, Millwork. All interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and maintain an active registration at the time of offer submission and award. The solicitation will be issued electronically only through Contract Opportunities at SAM.gov, and no paper or faxed copies will be provided or accepted. The solicitation is anticipated to be publicized on or about May 1, 2026. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award. No telephone, fax, or email inquiries will be accepted regarding this pre-solicitation notice.
