Description
Responses due November 28, 2025. The University of California (the University), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), which is operated under Prime Contract DE-AC02-05CH11231 with the U.S. The Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking information on qualifications to perform decommissioning and demolition (D&D) of multiple buildings located on Laboratory Property. SCOPE OF WORK The subcontractor must provide the services listed herein. The services involve various tasks such as: Project management, project oversight Safety oversight staff must have a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certificate and a minimum of five years safety oversight experience. Waste management and record keeping services. Primavera P6 scheduling software with weekly updates and three-week look ahead schedules Pre-demolition studies, such as historical site assessments Site investigation for hazardous materials and radiological impacts and reporting. Follow up data gaps investigations Utility deactivation based on LBNL provided plans Hazardous materials and radiological abatement, profiling, transportation, and disposal Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) utility construction per LBNL provided plans. Stormwater management services including, stormwater treatment and discharge to the East Bay Municipal Utility District sanitary sewer and installation and maintenance of stormwater controls. Demolition, waste profiling, transportation, and disposal Soil excavation profiling, transportation, and disposal Equipment and/or furniture moves Site restoration, including providing compacted fill, compaction testing, aggregate base course rock, paving, and striping. Street light installation Design services, as needed. The subcontractor must be capable of keeping charges separate for various work by ensuring correct project numbers are charged.
