Description
Solicitation Suspense Extended To 18 March 12pm CST *FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLYAVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT ANDIS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 52.232-18* The Regional Contracting Office-Soto Cano is seeking to obtain support to provide Catered Meal Services in multiple locations in El Salvador. The contractor shall provide non-personal services and furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, and any other items and services necessary to provide Catered Meal Services as specified in the PWS. Period of Performance is 16-27 April 2026 Meal services required in 3 separate locations with varying quantity at each location (See PWS Delivery Schedule) RFIs: 1. Meal Preparation Location Please confirm whether meals must be prepared on?site, off?site with delivery, or if either option is acceptable to the Government. Ilopongo and Nejapa: Delivery, For Chalatenango: we would prefer it be prepared on-site. Vendor must make arrangements with the 4th Brigade Salvadoran Army in Chalatenango for location to set up field kitchen and access to base. 2. Structural Facilities / Feeding Area Will the Government provide a building or designated structure for meal service, or is the contractor responsible for providing a complete setup, including tents, tables, chairs, and all feeding-area infrastructure? All locations have designated structures for meal services that includes tables, chairs for eating. Vendor will need to bring their own equipment for servicing delivered meals. There are no kitchens available for cooking. If vendor decides to cook on site in Chalatenango, they will have to provide their own equipment. 3. Packaging Requirements Are there any restrictions or preferences regarding styrofoam, plastic, or eco?friendly packaging for meal delivery? no 4. On?Site Government Receiving Official Will there be a Government point of contact on-site to receive, verify, and sign for meals upon delivery? Yes, a U.S. service member will be present. In the case that vendor decides to cook on site in Chalatenango, their will be a U.S. service member to inspect field kitchen and any equipment used during installation and operation. 5. Temperature Control Assets Will the Government provide cold storage or hot holding equipment, or must the contractor supply all required temperature?control assets to maintain food safety standards? Vendor must supply their own required temperature-control assets to maintain food safety standards. 6. Daily Headcount Confirmation Please confirm the daily headcount for breakfast and dinner. Additionally, will these quantities remain fixed, or should the contractor expect fluctuations throughout the period of performance? As listed in PWS Delivery schedule. Numbers may decrease slightly but will provide at minimum 48 hour notice and modification to the contract as necessary. 7. Minimum Guaranteed Quantity What is the minimum guaranteed number of meals per day for pricing and planning purposes? As listed in PWS Delivery schedule. 8.
