THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Item Description: Elevation Drive Brake NSN: 6110-01-685-1937 MFPN: 13056311 The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (DLAWS) (Warren) intends to issue a solicitation for BRAKE, ELEVATION DRIVE. The required Brake is a key component on the M109A Howitzer system. The U.S. Government is interested in identifying responsible sources with the following capabilities: Manufacturing and delivering this item to meet DoD specifications. Demonstrating current production capacity. Providing documentation demonstrating conformance to applicable MIL standards (MIL STD 2073, MIL STD 129) Recent and relevant experience with vehicular electronic systems. Technical Data Package (TDP): The Technical Data Package (TDP) for this item will be made available to qualified vendors and will be posted to the subject solicitation Response Instructions: Interested businesses are requested to submit the following information via email to the point of contact listed on this notice, or through the notice at SAM.gov.
