Description
MCIPAC Regional Contracting Office intends to restrict competition in accordance with FAR subpart 12.1 and award a contract for Ferry Transportation Services to: IE VILLAGE 519-14, KAWAHIRA, IE-SON KUNIGAMI-GUN 905-0503 This procurement action is being conducted under FAR subpart 12.201-1 and this notification also serves as the presolicitation notice. The anticipated date of award is 21 March 2026. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is V119 � Transportation/Travel/Relocation: Transportation: Other. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 483112 � Deep Sea Passenger Transportation. The requirement is for commercial Ferry Transportation Services to support the training and operations at Ie Shima Auxiliary Airfield, managed by the United States Marine Corps. These services are essential for the transportation of U.S. Government personnel and Government vehicles between Motobu Peninsula Port and Ie Shima Port, Okinawa, Japan. See attached Justification and Approval for Restricting Competition for a detailed description of this procurement action. This notification is not a request for sources, proposals or quotations. No contract award will be made based on proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of market research in determining whether to conduct competitive future procurements. A draft of the PWS has been provided for informational purposes, some attachments will be finalized at the time of award.
