Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO: Daktronics, Inc. (UEI: K2BEAN9NQGN1, CAGE: 32576) The 21st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source service contract to Daktronics, Inc. for connected Modems, lifetime data plan, and installation labor with electronic Marquees on Peterson Space Force Base. This will allow easier publication of routine to urgent messaging on the PSFB base gates. 5 Daktronics Marquees are currently in use, and to therefore ensure compatibility with their systems, Daktronics items will be required to confirm interoperability as soon as possible. Future requirements for Electronic marquees or marquee items may be satisfied by other vendors or alternate equipment later on. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Vendors that believe they can provide the items listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this Notice of Intent. Contractors must have a current registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://sam.gov/.
