Description

NASA/NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC)/John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) has a requirement for the purchase of one Pine 8 liquid nitrogen air separation unit to meet the specific requirements included in the Statement of Work (SOW) attached. Please note that due to the sensitivity of certain appendices referenced in the SOW, these materials will not be posted on SAM.gov. Only the SOW will be published at this time. NASA/NSSC/SSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the items from Nikkiso Cosmodyne under authority of FAR 6.103-1. Market research was conducted previously in the form of a Request for Information, 80SSC025K0001, via SAM.gov, and only one responsible source provided a response that met NASA SSC�s requirement. The Government intends to acquire the commercial product utilizing FAR parts 12 and 15. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Melissa Wagner at melissa.r.wagner@nasa.gov not later than 3:00 pm on December 3, 2025. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. Any determination by the Government, based on responses to this notice, to not conduct this acquisition under full and open competition shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government.
