This is a Request for Information (RFI) � Sought Notice Only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes only. 1. The US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder; not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any further RFQ; IFB or RFP if issued. 2. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339112. The business size standard is 1000 Employees. All contractors doing business with the Department of Defense shall be registered and approved through the System for Award Management (SAM). This is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidates the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, and EPLS. There is no fee to register for this site. Your email response shall provide the following: Can you provide the following: SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS OF SITE RITE 9 ULTRASOUND FOR VASCULAR ACCESS: IMAGING APPLICATIONS AND MODES: Imaging Applications: The system is indicated for various imaging applications, including Vascular, Vascular Access, Interventional, and Superficial imaging. This includes assessments of vessels, guidance for catheter and port placements, and imaging of soft tissue structures. System Configurations: The system is intended for diagnostic ultrasound imaging of the human body, for both adult and pediatric patients. Specific clinical applications include Peripheral Vessel and Vascular Access, Small Organ (breast, thyroid, parathyroid, testicles), Musculo-skeletal, and Cardiac. Imaging Modes: The SiteRite� 9 Ultrasound System transducer operates using B-mode and Color Doppler imaging. STANDARD FEATURES: Display: The system features a 15.6-inch touchscreen, which is 50% larger than the previous SiteRite� 8 model. Integrated Visualization Tools: Cue� Needle Tracking System: Provides continuous and real-time needle tracking for guidance during the insertion process. Sherlock 3CG+� Tip Confirmation System: An integrated system that uses ECG to ensure proper catheter tip navigation and location, which can serve as an alternative to chest X-ray confirmation for PICC tip placement in patients with an identifiable P-wave. Vessel Assessment Tools: The system includes tools that automatically detect and measure vessels to aid clinicians in selecting the appropriately sized catheter. User Interface: An updated, user-friendly interface with built-in training features and tutorials. Probe: An ergonomic probe with button controls and a 25mm acoustic array. SMART FEATURES AND CONNECTIVITY: Voice Commands: The system can be operated with voice commands to control functions like image freezing, depth adjustment, and timers, reducing the need to touch the screen. Patient Data Management: Features include patient data look-up with information capture, auto-filling capabilities, and records transfer to support clinician workflow. Connectivity: Wi-Fi: Enables remote software upgrades and connection to EMR systems. Ports: Equipped with USB, Ethernet, and HDMI ports. EMR Integration: Supports integration with hospital EMR systems through Worklist or HSCE. OPERATIONAL AND PHYSICAL FEATURES: Power Source: Can be powered by an AC adapter or an internal Lithium-Ion battery. The battery has a life of up to 90 minutes. Portability: The system is a portable device, weighing approximately 6.8 lbs. A kickstand and a roll stand are available as optional mounting accessories. Regulatory Clearance: The SiteRite� 9 Ultrasound System has received FDA 510(k) clearance. System Components: The main components include the Ultrasound System Console, Ultrasound Beamformer, System Software, and the Ultrasound Probe.
