Description
DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) intends to award a sole source, requirements type, long term contract (LTC) to Gentex Corporation CAGE 60420. The contract will include 49 NSNs including life support items (oxygen masks and pressure indicators) and other items including valves and headset/helmet items used on various weapon systems including the F15, F16, & C130. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than April 2, 2026. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a justification and approval (J&A) for Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and Noo Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated award is November 15, 2026. 10-year contract anticipated, covering 2-year base with (4) four 2-year option periods. Pricing will be structured with 3 pricing periods, Yr 1-4, with reprice at Yr 5-8 and Yr 9-10. Contract Program/Background: There is currently an existing 10-year LTC, SPE4AX17D9402, covering 31 NSNs which will expire 11/28/2026. This contract was issued as Unrestricted.
