Description

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division- Southeast (HCD-Southeast) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (FAR 12.201), soliciting from a single source. The proposed source is Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc. (Cage Code: 1RAP7), 2000 Holiday Dr., STE 500, Charlottesville, VA 22901-3601. The DHACA HCD-Southeast has a requirement for a middleware solution for point of care (POC) testing connectivity that can transmit patient test results into the hospital�s current laboratory information system for current devices Roche Accu-Chek Inform II and Abbott i-STAT 1 devices. The requested services include approved hardware, software and firmware updates for the middleware solution for POC testing to maintain the integrity of the system, while being in compliance with MHS Genesis health record system. Virtual servers are required and must be capable of using Windows Server 2016 and be capable of handling security updates in accordance with DoD specifications. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541512. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit sufficient technical data to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Closing date for challenges is no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) 30 April 2026. No phone calls will be accepted. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt.
