This is a Sources Sought Notice announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Any requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored. Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, Fort Hood, TX, has an upcoming requirement to solicit for and award a contract to provide for Surgical Lense Intraocular Collamer Lenses (ICL) for Carl R. Darnall Amy Medical Center (CRDAMC) Fort Hood, Texas. This request is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed-Priced contract. The type of solicitation to issue will be based upon the responses to this synopsis. Contact with Government Personnel, other than the Contract Specialist, identified at the bottom of this notice by any potential offeror, or their employees�, regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited and will not be honored. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, Fort Hood, TX has an upcoming requirement to solicit for Surgical lntraocular Lenses that are FDA approved to be delivered on as needed basis for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. Salient Characteristics Lenss: a. Minimum clinical Performance Requirements: i. Must be FDA approved ii. Must be available/made from Collamer i. Must have a power range of For Nearsightedness (Myopia) between �3.0 to �20.0 Diopters with Astigmatism between 1.0 to 4.0 Diopters ii. Must be sterile with a shelf life of at least 8 months iii. Must be single piece UV absorbing with blue light filter optic The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women-Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), as well as the interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Large Business community, to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract for these supplies. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm�s ability, capability, and responsibility to provide and deliver the products listed below. In response to this notice, interested parties shall submit a written Statement of Capability limited up to 5 pages and shall include the following information: THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide/perform these contract supplies/services, please provide the following information: Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; Tailored capability statements shall address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION OR SOLE SOURCE. Interested Offeror shall respond to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 7 April 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. All interested businesses must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) through the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to bobby.j.etheridge.civ@mail.mil. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored. EMAIL IS THE PREFERRED METHOD.
