Description
The purpose of this requirement is to provide comprehensive fatherhood and workforce development services that reduce barriers to obtaining and maintaining employment for fathers under the supervision of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA). The program is intended to improve parenting knowledge, skills, and confidence among justice-involved fathers through evidence-based instruction and supportive services that promote positive family engagement and responsible parenting. In addition, the program shall provide job readiness education, workforce development support, and employment-related services designed to address and mitigate the barriers to employment and long-term job retention commonly faced by fathers supervised by CSOSA, thereby enhancing their ability to achieve economic stability, support their families, and successfully reintegrate into the community.
