Description
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Service Unit (KSU) in Kayenta, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Steris Corporation, 5960 Heisley Rd, Mentor, OH 44060, for the replacement of 2 Tuttnauers Autoclaves with Steris systems - AMSCO 400 Small Steam Sterilizer with SCALEBACK, for the Inscription House Health Center in Tonalea, AZ. The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to Steris Corporation in accordance with RFO 12.201-1 Simplified Procedures for commercial products and services, the Contracting Officer (CO) may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available, which, in this case, is a name brand. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Steris Corporation, may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Ms. Daisha Richards, Purchasing Agent, at Daisha.Richards@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
