Description

The U.S. Embassy in Bern, Switzerland, invites qualified vendors to participate in a solicitation for temporary residential furniture rental and welcome kit services for government-leased residences in Bern and the surrounding areas. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a full range of services, including the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of residential furniture, as well as the provision of welcome kit packages for incoming U.S. government personnel. All furnishings must be new or in excellent condition, and all mattresses must be new. The contractor should be able to respond quickly to requests, manage multiple simultaneous orders, and ensure compliance with all local safety, labor, and insurance regulations. Prior experience supporting diplomatic missions or corporate housing providers is highly desirable. Interested vendors must be licensed to operate in Switzerland and demonstrate proven experience in residential furniture rental and logistics. The ability to provide comprehensive, end-to-end support, including delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal is essential. Evaluation Process: All proposals will be reviewed for technical acceptability based on the requirements outlined in the SOW. Only technically acceptable offers will be considered for price evaluation. The contract may be awarded to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer.
