Description
Purpose: The U.S. Coast Guard, acting on behalf of the Philippines Navy through Foreign Military Sales (FMS), is conducting market research to identify potential vendors for a 60-ton floating crane. Crane is intended to be fixed to a floating barge and requires a lifting capacity of 60 tons from the barge. The lifting capabilities must be calculated from a barge. Crane must meet compliance with Philippine�s EPA regulations. Equipment will be shipped to Cavite City, Philippines. Barge dimensions Full deck length 47.5 meters Cargo deck area 20 meters x 14 meters Full draft 4 meters Gross tonnage 859 tons Lifting capacities from the barge 15 tons @18 meters 40 tons @ 16 meters 60 tons @ 10 meters Machinery and Equipment Main Engine Generator set Motor Main Hoist Auxiliary Engine Motor Air Compressor Pump Air Compressor Winch Motor Swing Rotation 3 Air Box Assemblies Fuel Transfer Pump Motor Brake Hydraulic Pump Hydraulic Oiler Battery Charger, Portable Starting Battery Warranty 3-year manufacturer�s warranty Training Provide training for two (2) Officers, four (4) enlisted personnel, and two (2) Civilian Human Resource on; assembly, start-up, operation, maintenance, and/or repair of supplied goods. Information Requested from Industry: Interested parties are requested to provide information to assist the Government in its market research. All information should be clear and concisely formatted. Provide a ROM estimate for the complete system, including equipment, installation, training, and support options. Note that this is for market research and is not a binding quote Does your company currently have existing government-wide acquisition contracts (GWAC) (e.g. GSA) or other strategically sourced contracts for these types of requirements that the USCG can order off? If yes, please provide contract number, what agency it is with, and agency point of contact information. Provide any general comments, thoughts, and feedback your company would like to share regarding this RFI.
