OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources to complete the scope of work below. The place of performance will be the hospital campus of the Central Virginia VA Health Care System in Richmond, Virginia. Forward all questions to the point of contact identified below. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to install conduit and CAT 6 cabling as listed in the provided drawings for the remaining AP locations at Richmond VAMC and (3) at Ft Harrison to the nearest available IT switches at the specified locations in accordance with the Construction Contract and this statement of work. The Contractor shall complete the AP site preparation in accordance with the SOW, drawings, VA Specifications, and any other documents that have been provided. The Contractor shall manage and perform construction services as further defined in this Contract to include permitting, construction management, submittals, fixtures and equipment, scheduling, inspection, testing, environmental protection, and project closeout. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY A potential source, for the purposes of this notice, is considered to be any firm meeting the following requirements, with experience in managing similar contracts. Based on responses to this notice, some of the below requirements may be modified, where necessary, prior to release of any solicitation. Experience with managing construction contracts. All professional licenses and other legal certifications for conducting business in the state of Virginia and the United States.
