Description
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified small business concerns to provide support services for a Turtle Confiscation and Repatriation Workshop. The Government is seeking information from interested vendors capable of meeting the requirements described below. Background The Government requires contractor support to plan, coordinate, and/or conduct a workshop focused on turtle confiscation, repatriation, wildlife trafficking enforcement, animal handling and transport considerations, and related conservation and law enforcement topics. Scope of Services The anticipated requirement may include, but is not limited to: Workshop planning and coordination; subject matter expertise related to turtle confiscation and repatriation; development of training materials and workshop content; coordination with federal, state, tribal, international, academic, and/or non-governmental stakeholders; logistical support for workshop execution; facilitation of presentations, exercises, and discussions; preparation of post-workshop reports or summaries. The Government anticipates a performance period of approximately 09/01/2026 - 12/31/2027 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Proposed NAICS Code: 611430 � Professional and Management Development Training Size Standard: $15 million Vendor Response Requirements Interested firms shall provide the following information: 1. Company name, address, UEI, and CAGE Code (if applicable). 2. Business size and socioeconomic status under the proposed NAICS code (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB). 3. A brief capability statement describing the firm's ability to perform the required services. 4. Relevant experience performed within the last five years, including: Project title; Customer name; Contract number (if applicable); Period of performance; Description of services provided. 5. Information regarding personnel qualifications and subject matter expertise relevant to wildlife conservation, wildlife law enforcement training, animal confiscation and repatriation, workshop facilitation, or related fields. 6. Any comments regarding the proposed NAICS code and contract structure. Submission Instructions Responses shall not exceed 5 pages. Responses shall be submitted electronically to: Contract Specialist, Khalilah Brown, Khalilah_brown@ios.doi.gov Responses are due no later than July 6, 2026 at 5:00pm. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response. Any information received may be used for market research purposes in determining an appropriate acquisition strategy.
