Description

NOTICE OF INTENT This is a notice of intent to solicit from a single source. This notice of intent is issued in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.2. It is not a request for competitive proposals, but rather, an announcement of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Office of Acquisition & Grants, Sacramento Acquisition Branch�s intent to enter into a sole source procurement contract with GreenWater Laboratories / Cyano Holdings, Inc., Palatka, FL. The USGS Columbia River Research Laboratory requires analytical laboratory services to perform MMPB-method microcystin analysis on 80 fish liver samples. This analysis supports ongoing USGS research related to harmful algal blooms and toxin accumulation in juvenile salmon. NAICS 541380 Testing Laboratories PSC B516 Special Studies Analysis Animal Fisheries Interested parties may submit a capability statement or inquiries electronically by the closing date of this announcement. Submissions must demonstrate the ability to perform the MMPB analytical method for microcystin quantification in fish liver tissue and meet all requirements stated in the Statement of Work.
