Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT POSTING. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources for this project including interested small business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought. A Sources Sought posting was originally posted on February 4, 2025, as notice ID W50S7W-25-B-A001. Plans and Specifications associated with the project were redrafted and the project was not solicited. Due to the length of time that has elapsed, a new Sources Sought is being posted to redetermine interested potential sources. The purpose of this requirement is to renovate and construct an addition to existing Fire Crash/Rescue station, building 770, located at the 122d Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne, IN using government provided designs/specs/drawings. The project includes repair/renovation of the roof, lightning protection, exterior envelope, fire protection system, and HVAC systems. This project involves substantial renovations to the existing single-story CMU, 10,664 sqft station building. Additionally, the project will construct two structurally independent CMU additions: a 2,310 sqft apparatus bay and a 4,630 sqft administrative and dormitory area. The project includes: Construction of an ICC 500-2020 storm shelter Sustainability tracking and submittals throughout the project Supporting infrastructure to facilitate the installation of a Monaco D-21 central fire alarm monitoring system Construction of two structurally independent additions to an existing facility Installation of a new sprinkler (no sprinkler system exists in the current building) and alarm system throughout the existing building and new additions. Response INFORMATION: The magnitude of this project will be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Interested concerns will provide this office, in writing via single PDF, with a notice stating their positive intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor no later than 28 NOV 2025 at 5:00PM EST. This notification, which shall not exceed seven typewritten pages (not inclusive of attachments), must include: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor (2) Completed Sources Sought Response Form Responses may include information on projects completed during the past three years of a similar scope, both for government and private industry. Including: Type of project, Price, Contract number, Location, Customer and Customer and customer point of contact. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
