Description

The Bureau of Reclamation requires a ten (10) inch motor operated Nordstrum Dynamic Plug Valve Assembly (or equivalent) with the following specifications: Assembly includes: 10� Nordstrum 1949 Plug Valve (or equivalent) Limitorque MXB Series Electric Actuator (or equivalent) Limitorque WG35 Gear Box (or equivalent) This is a sources sought notice for acquisition planning purpose. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the Government requirement to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business socio-economic set-aside is possible. All eligible and qualified contractors may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of small business contractors who have the ability to deliver the item described above. The capability statements received will be used to determine the Government's overall procurement strategy. Interested parties shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, tools, and materials to deliver the specific motor operated dynamic plug assembly. This will be a brand name or equal purchase in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. See the attached draft specification for requirement standards. The project will be solicited for delivery by 90 days after receipt of order (ARO). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332911 Industrial Valve Manufacturing. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 750 employees. Interested contractors should submit capability statements that include the following information: (1) Firm's name, address, telephone number, business size and type (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Woman Owned, etc.); (2) Point of contact including name, position, phone number and email address; and (3) Demonstration of the firm's capability to deliver this item, including confirmation of the requested brand name or equal item. Capability statements are to be received no later than 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on June 26, 2026.All responses to this sources sought notice shall be sent to Brenda Davis, Contracting Officer, via email at brenda_davis@ios.doi.gov.
