The Government proposes acquiring a one-time buy firm-fixed price contract, a quantity of 116 each PUMP UNIT, HYDRAULIC; NSN: 4320-01-561-7214; Part Number: 3032171-001 applicable to the CH-47 Chinook weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) without First Article Testing (FAT) is 116 each, 600 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to TRACY, CA, 95304-5000. This item is restricted to the following: EATON AEROSPACE, LLC, CAGE CODE: 62983 and JAMAICA BEARINGS CO INC., CAGE CODE: 04836 The item is acquired for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacture. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part nor use of a second source part in the intended application. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements to be eligible for the award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ame-sar@mail.mil and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
