SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE For Market Research Purposes Only No Solicitation Exists at This Time The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to identify qualified businesses capable of providing laboratory analytical services for dissolved inorganic nutrient analysis, in support of the Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center (PCMSC). Services shall be performed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information gathering and acquisition planning purposes. This is not a solicitation, request for quote (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), and no contract award will be made at this time. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice. NAICS Code: 541380 � Testing Laboratories and Services Size Standard: $19 million average annual receipts Scope of Requirement The USGS requires laboratory analysis of 407 marine porewater and seawater samples for dissolved inorganic nutrients using Flow Injection Analysis (FIA). The required analytes, analytical ranges, QA/QC protocols, and deliverables are detailed in the attached SOW. Requested Information Firms interested in this potential opportunity should submit a capability statement that demonstrates: Experience performing dissolved inorganic nutrient analyses via FIA on marine porewater and seawater matrices. Ability to meet the analytical ranges, precision, and QA/QC requirements specified in the SOW. Laboratory capacity to analyze 407 samples within standard turnaround timelines. Relevant past performance examples for similar analytical work. Business size status (small or large) under NAICS 541380, including any SBA socioeconomic designations (e.g., HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a)).
