Description
INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract to replace elevators throughout Veteran Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) with reliable, safe, and New Modernized Elevator Systems, VANCHCS campuses Martinez and Mare Island, California. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A. The Contractor shall provide five (5) New fully functional and complete Elevator Systems for the VANCHCS campus in accordance with the attached drawings; Elevator Study Project 612A4-19-00. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard of $22 million. The solicitation will be issued on or around November 22, 2025. The period of performance is approximately 360 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
