Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government to procure meals for cadets and cadre for the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Keweena in Calumet, Michigan, 25 May -12 June 2026. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) is seeking information from potential sources to provide the meals in support of the U.S. Army Cadet Command's mission. Refer to the attachments: Draft PWS and applicable wage determination. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide the specified meals in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. This synopsis is a market research tool being used in determining the procurement strategy. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or services. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future advertisement, if any is issued. IThe anticipated NAICS code is 721214. Size standard is $9 Million. The following is to be included in your response: A statement of interest in the services contained herein. A synopsis of your company�s capabilities to perform the required services, including descriptions of past performance on contracts of similar size and scope. Company Information: Name, address, UEI, CAGE code, and business size/socio-economic status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned) and the corresponding NAICS code. Contact Information: Name, title, email address, and phone number for a primary point of contact. Identify any condition or action that may be having the effect unnecessarily restricting competition with respect to this acquisition. Please contact the MICC Advocate for Competition, Scott Kukes, at scott.d.kukes.civ@army.mil or (210) 466-2269, if you believe that this action is unreasonably restricting competition. Include the subject of the acquisition, this announcement, and the MICC POC information from the Sam.gov notice. Provide the specific aspects that unreasonably restrict competition and the rationale for such conclusion. Responses to this announcement shall be emailed to Cassidy Dummitt, cassidy.n.dummitt.civ@army.mil and Barbara J Jeffries, Barbara.j.jeffries5.civ@army.mil no later than 1:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time on 15 May 2026. The email subject line SHALL contain: �PANMCC-26-P-0000 040270 - JCLC Keweenaw Meals - [Your Company Name]" shall not exceed three (3) pages.
