Description

This requirement is for 5 EACH specialized ladders to be used in in aircraft maintenance. The ladders must be portable and have a system that will allow the user to safely step off the top of the ladder and onto the aircraft through the use of passthrough guardrails, walkthrough extensions, or similar protections. This is not a request for ladders with fall protection systems such as harnesses, lanyards, or anchorage; see the attached purchase description for details. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR Part 13 procedures will be utilized. Solicitation Number W50S9F26QA011 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06, effective 1 October 2025 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Change 11/10/2025, effective 10 November 2025. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332999, and Product Service Code (PSC) code is 1730. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is 750 employees. Instructions to Quoters: Review the SF1449 and all attachments. See the attachment Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services for instructions detailing items which must be provided with a quote. Quotes must be emailed to the primary and alternate points of contact shown. It is your responsibility to make sure your quote is received. Do not email attachments that exceed 15mb in aggregate. You will receive an email confirmation when your quote is received. All questions shall be in writing. Questions shall be emailed to the primary point of contact shown on this RFQ. Questions must be received NLT than 7 days prior to the response date/time.
