Description
1. Introduction The 187 FW is releasing this Sources Sought in accordance with DFARS PGI 206.103-170 to support justification for sole source in accordance with FAR 6.103-1. This requirement is to repair a HALLCO Mini-K back to its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) functionality in accordance with the attached performance Work Statement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a solicitation, and it does not indicate that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. 2. Requirement Overview. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required to perform the repairs and upgrades as detailed in this Performance Work Statement. All parts must be OEM parts. Task 1: Restore System to Previous Condition. The contractor shall supply and install the following components: (4) MPEP Lower Table Cylinder Mount Plates (Part #: 51-9490-A) (3) 100 amp 32V fuses (1) MPEP Lower Table Long Cylinder Mount Channel (Part #: 51-9743) (1) Cylinder Mount channel (Part #: 51-9266) (1) Hydraulic Hose (Part #: 86-9546) (1) Hydraulic Hose (Part #: 86-9547) (1) Mini-K Hydraulic Tee Mounting Plate (Part #: 51-10022) Task 2: Install Support Gussets and Pressure Relief System. The contractor shall supply and install the following: (2) Support Gussets (1) Support Channel (1) Pressure Relief Valve (2) Pressure Relief Hoses Perform required welding services. Task 3 (Optional): Replace Bent Cylinders. If this option is exercised, the contractor shall supply and install: (2) Extension Cylinders (Part #: 49-9257) 3. NAICS Code The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance), which has a corresponding size standard of $16.5 million. 4. Interested Parties The Government is interested in responses from all businesses, including Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (8a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), HUBZone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB). We request that interested parties respond to this notice and identify their business size status corresponding to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide information on any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and/or commercial customers within the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should clearly delineate the work that will be performed by the prime contractor and the work to be performed by the teaming partners. 5.
