Description
DLA Land and Maritime � Aberdeen, anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about February 6, 2025, for a five-year base, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract, with a proposed maximum contract value of $9,000,000.00. This requirement supports the procurement of Image Intensifier (I�) Tubes for integration into the Enhanced Night Vision Goggles (ENVG PSQ-20B), NSN 5855-01-610-5231, Part Number OFM-2307-A1. The ENVG PSQ-20B is a critical capability that amplifies ambient light to enable Warfighters to operate effectively in low-light and night-time conditions. It enhances situational awareness by fusing thermal and image intensification technologies, allowing for improved target detection and recognition. The I� Tube is a core component of this system, directly contributing to mission success in degraded visual environments. Quantities are provided for planning purposes only; actual order quantities may vary. *************** The anticipated hardware shipment location is W25G1U, New Cumberland, PA. The required delivery schedule will be detailed in the forthcoming solicitation. Based on market research, this item qualifies as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 2.101. This acquisition will be conducted under FAR 13.5 procedures and is authorized under other than full and open competition pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) � Sole Source (including brand name) acquisitions. This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a formal solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
