Description
The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO), Arlington, Virginia, will host a virtual industry day 07 May 2026, to discuss the program's upcoming requirement for knowledge-based security services in support of acquisition and sustainment activities. During this vital forum, the government will share its upcoming procurement needs with our industry partners. This event is intended to be a place of transparent communication and collaboration between the public and private sectors; it offers a prime opportunity for vendors to understand the Government's requirements and ask clarifying questions. The F-35 JPO will use feedback and information about industry capability to refine its requirements. The F-35 JPO Security Directorate (herein referred to as F-35 JPO Security) has the critical mission of providing full spectrum multi-disciplined security support to protect F-35 technology and information across its enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. F-35 JPO Security efforts include providing advice and services regarding programmatic security measures that deny unauthorized access to F-35 facilities, equipment, and resources, and protect personnel, information, and property from damage and/or loss of technology. Security support services encompass the management and control of controlled unclassified information (CUI), collateral/general service (GENSER) information, Special Access Program (SAP) information, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) information, Critical Nuclear Weapons Design Information (CNWDI), Restricted Data (RD) and Formal Restricted Data (FRD), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) across multiple security disciplines. Security support disciplines consist of, but are not limited to, General Security (GENSEC), Industrial Security (INDUSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), and Physical Security (PHYSEC). The Contractor shall be responsible for a full range of services as outlined in the Draft PWS, Attachment 1. The Government anticipates the RFP will be released under the North American Classification System (NAICS) 541690, Other Scientific and Technical consulting Services, with a size standard of $19.5 Mil. The resultant contract is expected to be a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. We encourage all interested parties to attend the industry day to discuss this requirement in further detail. To request a link to join the virtual meeting please submit the following information to Joy McBride at joy.a.mcbride2.civ@us.navy.mil: Name of attendee Company represented Email of attendee Telephone number Additionally, please submit all questions you would like to be answered at the industry day by 05 May 2026 to joy.a.mcbride2.civ@us.navy.mil The Government intends to offer one-on-one sessions with industry the following week to address any follow-on questions.
