6640 - Laboratory Equipment and Supplies Thermal Manikins

Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Groton Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Thermetrics, LLC for Thermal Manikins in support of Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) located in Natick, MA. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(1), only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The delivery period will be for 30 days after award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within two days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received.
