Requirement Description: U.S. Merchant Marine Military Medals and Emblems Scope of Requirement The contractor shall provide official, high-quality military-grade medals, sets, buttons, and emblems. All items must meet official federal manufacturing and design standards for United States military decorations. Itemized Supply List The contractor must supply the following specific items (as shown in the list provided): Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal (MMEM) Sets: Awarded to U.S. Merchant Mariners (including cadets) who serve operational duty in designated war zones or hazardous areas. Merchant Marine World War II Atlantic War Zone Medal: Awarded for service in the Atlantic War Zone during WWII. Merchant Marine WWII Victory Medal: Awarded for service during World War II. Merchant Marine WWII Merchant Marine Honorable Service Button: A distinct lapel button for individuals honorably discharged from WWII Merchant Marine service. Merchant Marine Mediterranean-Middle East War Zone Medal: Awarded for service in the Mediterranean-Middle East War Zone during WWII. WWII Merchant Marine Emblem: An official emblem/pin designating service in the Merchant Marine during WWII. Quality and Compliance Standards Completeness: Full "Sets" (such as the MMEM Sets) must include the regulation-size medal, ribbon bar, and any required lapel pins or storage cases typically included in an official presentation set. Authenticity: All medals and insignia must precisely match historical and statutory design criteria specified for United States Merchant Marine awards.
