Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Page 1 of *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs has solicited and negotiated IAW RFO 6.103-2 a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price task order with the OEM, Carestream. This emergency procurement is for a replacement Digital Detector for Carestream Mobile X-Rays. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334517. The detector is used daily with the Mobile X-Ray units to convert images. This equipment must be replaced immediately to avoid severely delaying and affecting patient care. This requirement was awarded 06/29/2026. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Portland VA Medical Center Healthcare System 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road Portland, OR 97239 This notice satisfies the requirement at RFO 5.3, to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government s intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
