Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation is posted in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR Part 5, "Publicizing Contract Actions." This requirement is for recurring annual maintenance, software updates, and other services required for ongoing operation of Motek Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) equipment located at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This requirement is solicited by Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W), United States Army Health Contracting Activity (USACHA). This requirement is solicited in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures contained within RFO FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services." This is a noncompetitive contract action due to the limited availability of sources and proprietary nature of this requirement, to include but not be limited to the controlled distribution of parts and tools and software availability. The intended source is: Motek Medical B.V., Vleugelboot 14 Houten 3991Cl, Netherlands. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Please reference Solicitation W81K00-26-Q-A221 which is included as an attachment to this notification.
